BBGB

I am going to be working on this project on and off. This is a GBA SP shell that had Gameboypi's pcb installed into it alongside a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 I got my hands on. while I have tried to do handwired pcbs before to some degree of success, I really didn't want to design 80 different things so it would mount to the shell. However, I didn't like how long a normal GBA SP battery lasts with the pi 2, as a standard gba sp battery (usually around 800mAh) running JUST the pi (about ~500 mAh power draw without anything attached to it) would be around an hour and a half. I however, am not just using a pi, so the draw would definately be increased (Idk by how much, but I'm sure it would be significant). The good news however, is the charging board I'm using is fine with all sorts of sizes! A tp4056 charging module can handle several battery cells. Because of this, I upgraded the battery to a 3000 mah battery to last me as long as needed, but this led to a new problem: size. this battery did not fit in the standard battery compartment for a GBA SP. I decided that momma' didn't raise no quitter, and designed a backpack for the GBA SP to fit the shell and hold the battery. While it went through one or two itterations, I think I am happy to say this backpack attaches, and removes easily and doesn't fall off with minor use. This is definately no longer pocket sized, but it remains portable enough that I'm happy with the results. Special Thanks to GlowDonk, who came up with the backpack's name: the "BBGB".

OVERHAUL

I really haven't dabbled in html in a long time, and college classes kinda have me too drained to make really fast progress, so for now I decided to utillize one of the many beautiful templates provided by the community! Thanks to Templaterr on neocities for making this amazing template. To make sure it is known I stol--- eh, erm, borrowed this template, I am keeping the footer element for every page. Ty very much for the very well done template.

Good Morning Open Fortress!

Well, I made a mod, for a... mod. I dabbled a little in source modding before, making a mod previously, but I never really did more than the modeling part. This time however, I also got help from the wonderful people at the Open Fortress discord. This was a fun project, but I really needed to learn a lot more about porting and reading compiler logs. None the less, this was a great project, and I'm glad it turned out ok. If you are interested, all the files are linked to the download page on here, or you can just look it up on GameBanana where I have it posted. Also, and I can not stress this enough, Please Play Open Fortress. It's an amazing mod that takes tf2, a game originaly made off of quake, and then turns it right back into quake. It's actually so fucking good, and I cannot stress it enough. Do yourself a favor if you are a fan of Arena shooters, TF2, or even just Source games, PLAY IT

This is the first card I have made for segments, as this website is one of the first projects that I will talk about. There's not too much to talk about because I didn't really think of recording my steps, this was a spontaneous project. Regardless, I hope to talk about many other things here, as well as potentially making future updates to this site. The "funny zone" text was made in blender in like 3 seconds, but blender is one thing I am still learning.
